Sweetheart and I aren't going NFL on you guys -we're sticking with college throughout the season. However, the New York Jets' situation needs our attention.

Rex Ryan, Mark Sanchez, and Tim Tebow need to work together for this system of theirs to work. When I think of the 2012 New York Jets, I look back at Tim Tebow's 2006 Freshman year with the Florida Gators. Chris Leak led the Gators in passing while coach Urban Meyer put Tebow in on short yardage situations - "Tebow Time." That was college, but it worked - and they won it all that season.

NFL fans see Tebow as predictable. At Florida, Leak had them thinking 'pass', while this threw defenses off balanced when Tebow entered the game. Mark Sanchez can create this same situation with Tebow adding the finishing touches. Tebow's plays with the Jets will offset the opposing defenses. Tebow's direct snaps, running the ball, or his famous jump-pass can make other teams change their practices solely for the Jets' offense. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Jets fan, Tebow supporter, nor am I a Gators fan. I look at a situation and take it for what it's worth.

I prefer the situational Tebow role over the main starter role. When Tebow played for the Denver Broncos as the starting QB, he needed a lot of luck to get past certain teams. That Bears/Broncos game was enough for me to digest. Reality finally set in when Tom Brady matched up against Tebow. Mark Sanchez needs to stay healthy to lead the Jets to their goal. If Sanchez can respect Tebow's role, Tebow will help Sanchez in the NFL the same way he helped Leak in college.

Analogy of NFL by way of the NBA: Dennis Rodman and Robert Horry won rings by understanding the roles they played for their respected teams. Rodman was the nasty guy in the paint for rebounds, while Horry took charge with three pointers. This is the service coach Rex Ryan needs out of his QBs. If not, the New York media will eat him up like a Georgia boy at a buffet.

Sweetheart's Stuff

Oh, Boy! This guy has many names! His given name, Timothy Richard Tebow (does everyone from the South have the name Richard?),Tim, Timmy, "The Chosen One," and my personal favorite, "Super Tim" (his Superhero name given by Marvel Comics). It's all true people, I do not lie.

According to my research this guy practically walks on water. When he's not busy rushing or passing down the field he's building children hospitals that come fully equipped with a "Timmy's Playroom."  He's also launched the Tim Tebow Foundation, wrote books and takes time from his busy schedule to pose for those comic book covers. This is exhausting just thinking of everything this guy does.

I'm sorry to report, during these "Tebowing" times, I don't think he was praying. He was taking a break!

Denver so loved football, they gave their one and only Tebow to New York, that whoever believes in Tim will not perish but have eternal wins.
