60 Max Power O:
New York Jets players reported for training camp yesterday, marking the official start of training camp at SUNY Cortland. The most important sighting was Darrelle Revis. It was reported last week that he would show up on time and he did, which makes Jets training camp a much happier place right now. Then LaRon Landry was activated off the PUP List, and Jets training camp is really flying high right now.
The New York Jets hope the early momentum at training camp continues. Getting Jeff Otah to pass his physical and be physically able to contribute would be a big help, as well as getting Demario Davis off the PUP list. The Jets will also be hoping that enough progress is made in contract discussions with Darrelle Revis to keep him happy.
So far, so good. It has only been one day, but all signs are pointing up right now. A lot can happen over the course of a few days in training camp and the Jets will look to avoid any major pitfalls. With LaRon Landry and Darrelle Revis strapped...

TOUGH CROWD, TOUGH CROWD
Tim Tebow's first public practice for the Jets didn't go so well. It was so bad that several fans got in some verbal jabs on the backup QB.

It appears that one reporter had Tim Tebow on the brain during a New York Jets Q&A session at the New York Jets training camp.
Watch as she calls Jets starting quarterback Mark Sanchez, "Tim":
It's nice that Mark laughed it off since I'm pretty sure that he is seething inside from that.
The New York Jets are always trying something new. Whether it’s using a guy like Tim Tebow in special packages, or using the Former Jet Brad Smith in a variety of ways, they have a trick to doing things.
A big topic of Jets football thusfar has been lack of depth at RB and WR. They haven’t focused too much on bringing in players at either position, but today Jets coach Rex Ryan...
Whenever news regarding Darrelle Revis pops up, it’s automatically assumed to be contract-related. That was not the case on Sunday — or so he says.
Per the NY Daily News, the Jets’ All-Pro cornerback sat out part of today’s full-contact practice with what he described as “a little tightness” in his right hamstring.
Revis, who admitted he was “close” to holding out...
Considering all the media attention the Jets garner, one would think they were the team from New York that just won the Super Bowl last year.
However, this is New York and the city that never sleeps always loves a juicy story to pounce on. Whether the Jets are anything more than an amusing sideshow worthy of nothing more than back page covers remains to be seen.
He may have lost a hundred pounds but he’s still the same Rex
Perhaps no team comes into the 2012-13 season with more questions than the New York Jets. After collapsing at the end of last season they knew they had many issues to address. They had fighting between the players, a quarterback that had taken a big step back in his third year, an offensive line that couldn’t...
New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez will begin to see the craziness that comes with Tim Tebow on the team as training camp progresses. He got a taste of it when a reporter not knowing who he was talking to yelled out "Tim" to get his attention. Check out the video below from DeadSpin.com.
Sanchez handled it well.
Hot News for CB Antonio Cromartie
The Jets have been the most talked about team in New York despite the Giants being the defending world champions. Every time I turn on NFL Network, there is Rex Ryan and Tim Tebow, with no mention of the Giants. Could this be intentional or is it done purposefully? At first thought, I blamed it on coincidence but that’s a little silly to think. Then I started thinking about it...
A reporter at Jets camp referred to Mark Sanchez as “Tim” during a Q&A session, which is either inexcusably stupid or inspired trolling. C’mon, they’re entirely different shades of terrible quarterback. It has to be trolling. In which case, I guess I’m just disappointed that Ines Sainz couldn’t have been the one to do it. If we’re gonna make this a media narrative...
He isn't according to Jets DB and I don't mean defensive back, Antonio Cromartie. Cromartie was asked if he agreed with Rex Ryan's assertion that he, Rex, was the best defensive coach in the game, better than Bill Belichick and the Steelers' Dick LeBeau. Cromartie told Newsday:
"I mean, it's him and Dick LeBeau. Rex is first on the list and LeBeau'...
