The New York Jets are coming off the bye week with a win in their pocket. The Buffalo Bills are coming off the return of the rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel. They are also trying to rebound from a sound beating from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Two rookie quarterback and two franchises headed in opposite directions. Who would have predicted at the beginning of the year, the Jets were going up and the Bills going down? That would have been bold. Here are three bold predictions:The Jets Break Their PatternThe Jets have been in a predictable pattern, they would win a game, then lose a game. They have neither had consecutive wins or losses this season. That predictable streak ends this week. The Jets will finally record two consecutive wins. The Jets will defeat the Bills by 10 points. The Jets defense Will Limit C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson to 50 YardsLast week the Bills played the Steelers. In the loss Jackson rushed 12 times for 55 yards, Spiller carried the ball eight times for 23 yards. The Jets have the top ranked defense. They are allowing 74 yards per game. This week the Jets will hold the dynamic duo of Jackson and Spiller to 50 yards. Not 50 yards each but 50 yards between them. The Jets' Secondary Will Get Torched This prediction is not as bold as first thought. While Antonio Cromartie has been serviceable, he has allowed wide recievers to get 210 yards after the catch and score four touchdowns on him. Compared to first round pick Dee Milliner, Cromartie is shut-down. Milliner has only played in four games this season. On the games he has played he has been targeted by opposing quarterbacks two-to-one. In Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, Milliner gave up 108 yards on four catches. When Darrin Walls entered the game to replace Milliner, he was beaten by Bengals wide receiver Marvin Jones on a 6-yard touchdown pass. The Jets' secondary is the weak link. Luckily, the Jets front seven and the offense will overcome the secondary's weakness and win the game. Follow me on Twitter@ neverenoughglt
