Coming off of a week where they went undefeated, the NFC West teams will look to continue their success in Week 11. With Seattle on a bye, there are just three games, one of which is on Monday night. There are a few tough matchups this week, but hopefully we do not have to experience any more ties. Here is your NFC West Week 11 preview.Arizona Cardinals (4-5) at Atlanta Falcons (8-1)Coming off of a bye, the Arizona Cardinals will head to Atlanta to take on the Falcons in Week 11. Both teams are coming off of a loss and will be looking to get back on track. After starting the year 4-0, the Cardinals have dropped five straight games and their playoff hopes are quickly disappearing. They have a few very tough games coming up and some believe that they will finish below the .500 mark. The Atlanta Falcons suffered their first loss of the season in Week 10, losing 31-27 in New Orleans. Matt Ryan threw for 411 yards, but they could not get the run game going. Michael Turner ran the ball 13 times for just 15 yards. Putting up 27 points against an awful Saints defense is not going to cut it.Just a couple of weeks ago, many people were talking about how the Falcons may be underrated. I am going to take a different route here and say that they are overrated. They have had the privilege of playing the AFC West and also kept it close against Carolina and Washington.Arizona has had two weeks to prepare for Matt Ryan, Julio Jones is playing with an injury and the Cardinals offense made some progressions against Green Bay in Week 9. Atlanta is on upset alert for the second week in a row.New York Jets (3-6) at St. Louis Rams (3-5-1)The St. Louis Rams played an extra 15 minutes of football last week, going into overtime against San Francisco. The game resulted in a tie, meaning that the Rams remain undefeated in the division with wins over Seattle and Arizona. As for the Jets, they were torched by the Seahawks in Seattle last week and it is looking like their season will be over early. I have mentioned it a couple of times and will continue to say that this New York team is a mess.St. Louis is 3-1 at the Edward Jones Dome this season with their only loss coming to Green Bay. Their home record is 3-2 with a loss coming to New England at Wembley Stadium. Bottom line is that they play tough at home and this will be no different in Week 11.Playing on the road against the NFC West is no fun at all. It would not come as a surprise if the Jets are swept by this division. Expect another ugly game here with the Rams coming out on top.Chicago Bears (7-2) at San Francisco 49ers (6-2-1)For the second time this season, the reigning NFC West champions will take over Monday Night Football. San Francisco will host the Chicago Bears in what was originally scheduled to be a battle between two top teams.Although that is true when you look at their records, it could wind up being a battle of the backups. Both Jay Cutler and Alex Smith left their respective Week 10 matchups due to a concussion and their status for Monday’s game is unknown. If this is the case, then you have to believe that Chicago will have the advantage. This game features two of the best defenses in football and Jason Campbell should be able to weather the storm more effectively than Colin Kaepernick. This is a big game for both teams. Chicago needs a win to stay atop the tough NFC North, while the 49ers cannot afford a loss. They have a pretty tough second half and will need Alex Smith if they want to make the playoffs.
