For the second week in a row we have only two games on tap for the NFC West division.A struggling Arizona Cardinals team is on their bye week, Seattle will host the Jets and we have a division game between San Francisco and St. Louis. Here is your Week 10 NFC West preview.New York Jets at Seattle SeahawksThis game will likely go one of two ways. It will either be extremely boring and hard to watch or it will surprise a lot of people and be an entertaining game. The Seahawks are a great team at home and the Jets may have something dialed up coming off of their bye week.Seattle has a perfect 4-0 record at home so far this year and will be looking to push it to 5-0 heading into their bye. A win will put them at 6-4 on the year, but a loss will put them at .500 and likely knock them out of playoff contention. As for the Jets, they better have something planned for this week. Their team is a mess and both Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez have had two weeks to try and save their job. It is turnaround time for New York. Neither Ryan nor Sanchez can afford another ugly game. This game boils down to the Jets' performance. If they play the way they have been playing, Seattle takes it easily. If they come out guns a blazing, then we may have a fight on our hands.St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ersSimilar to the Seattle/New York game, this is a game that, on paper, should be an easy win for the home team. Two things that Jeff Fisher has taught his team, however, are to protect your home turf and play tough against the division. The Rams are 2-0 against the NFC West this season.St. Louis was right in the mix a few weeks ago, but they have dropped two straight to Green Bay and New England. These are two games they would like to forget. This team is pretty much out of the playoff race, but a win would be a huge morale booster. There is not much you can say about the San Francisco 49ers that hasn’t already been said. They are one of the best teams in football and have been picked by some to win the Super Bowl. Heading into this Sunday, the 49ers will have only played one game in 22 days. They will be well-rested and ready to take over in the second half.Rams keep it close until the fourth where San Francisco pulls away.Arizona CardinalsA team in desperate need of a bye, Arizona actually started to figure some things out against Green Bay. We saw Michael Floyd involved and both Kevin Kolb and Beanie Wells will return from injury within the next couple of weeks. Their losing streak has killed their playoff hopes, but this team will at least be competitive in the second half. That is more than we could say a week ago.
