Teams within the AFC West seem to like the coordinators from the Denver Broncos. Last season, the Oakland Raiders hired Broncos defensive coordinator Dennis Allen as their head coach. Now, it appears that the San Diego Chargers will raid the Denver coaching ranks this season. CBS Sports insider Jason LaCanfora reports that the Chargers will hire Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy this afternoon. McCoy became a hot commodity this year and has interviewed with several teams after the Broncos were eliminated from post-season play. McCoy has interviewed with the Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles and the Arizona Cardinals as well as the Chargers. McCoy helped lead the Broncos to back-to-back playoff appearances. Last year, McCoy tailored the Broncos offense to fit Tim Tebow. This season, with Peyton Manning under center, the Broncos finished second in offensive scoring in the league.
