The Las Vegas Raiders may have missed the playoffs in the 2023 season, but there is a lot to be optimistic about heading into the 2024 season.

The Raiders may have struck gold with their hiring of head coach Antonio Pierce who led the team as the interim last year. Pierce was able to quickly establish his preferred identity on both sides of the field, and the players bought into him as the team’s new head coach as several of them, including Maxx Crosby, lobbied for the Raiders to hire him.

Aside from hiring Pierce permanently, Las Vegas also addressed some rosters in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Raiders beefed up the offensive line with players like Brock Bowers, Jackson Powers-Johnson and DJ Glaze, while the defense got some much-needed help with the selections of Decamerion Richardson, Tommy Eichenberg and Trey Taylor.

With a revitalized group of young and hungry players, the silver and black faithful have to be excited for next season. Fans of all teams will also reportedly have something to look forward to as the NFL is reportedly releasing the full 2024 season schedule next week Adam Schefter of ESPN:

This is about the time of the offseason when the league releases the schedule, so there aren’t many surprises. Knowing the full slate of games will help fans plan accordingly as they and the teams they root for gear up for another season.

Las Vegas might have playoff hopes, but it faces an uphill climb as the AFC continues to improve. The conference was strong last year but projects to be even better this time around after teams made the necessary additions to their respective rosters.

However, the Raiders should be a more competitive group this time around, and it’ll be interesting to see if they can surprise some people.

Davante Adams believes the Raiders organization is more competitive than Green Bay Packers

While his first two years in Las Vegas haven’t gone according to plan, Davante Adams remains committed to playing for the organization. After his situation with the Green Bay Packers deteriorated, Adams requested to be traded to the Raiders, and he got his wish.

Adams won more games with the Packers but didn’t hesitate to say that he feels like the Raiders are a more competitive organization.
