Found September 12, 2013 on Third And Wrong:
Well, I’m back!  I am pretty pleased with my week one picks after going 11-5.  I could have done better and, would have if Lavonte David hadn’t lightly tapped Geno Smith on the shoulder.  Regardless, 11-5 is pretty good for the first week of the season, but I intend to improve this week and actually hit on my parlay.  Let the picking and betting commence! 2013 Season Pick Record: 11-5 2013 Parlay Record: 0-1   Game: New York Jets at New England Patriots Vegas Line: Patriots (-13) My Line: Patriots (-10) Pick: Patriots 28-10.  The Patriots didn’t look great in their season opener against the Bills, but I would be surprised if they look that sloppy again against the Jets in a week two rivalry match.  It’s too bad Mark Sanchez isn’t going to be playing, because the last time these two teams played on a Thursday it produced the “Butt Fumble”. Bet: Stay away from this one.  It’s a rivalry game, which means it might be closer than you think.  You really never know with these two teams
