The quarterback position is an important one because they are seen as the team's leadership on the field, and when teams fail to win the quarterback is usually the first position that is blamed and changed. Therefore it is important for a starting quarterback to always do their best and win football games.Week 8 was an interesting one in the NFL for the quarterback position because some high profile quarterbacks like Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers failed to play well, while poorer quarterbacks like Blaine Gabbert had a great game.In this article I will examine each quarterback match-up from Week 8, and let you know who won and who lost each.

In honor of Halloween the Green Bay Packers decided to do their own rendition of The Walking Dead.
Thanks in part to all of Green Bay’s injury’s, the Packers offense looked more like a shambling horde of zombies instead of the well-tuned machine it has been the last couple of weeks. But the Packers did just enough to get the win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
GREEN BAY, Wis. Aaron Rodgers didn't like the NFL's tuck rule when it first came into play 10 years ago. And after not getting the benefit of that call Sunday, the Packers' quarterback isn't about to change his mind on it.
With one minute to go in the first half of Green Bay's 24-15 win over Jacksonville, Rodgers was sacked by Jaguars rookie defensive end Andre...
Aaron Rodgers performed quite possibly one of the best photobombs we have seen in quite sometime. Chck out the lovely below photo of Green Bay Packers’ James Jones, Erik Walden and Bret Goode lined up with some very serious faces. Then check out the background for some perfect photobombing, with an eye-patch nonetheless. via Jason Wilde Article found on: Cosby Sweaters
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a chance to lead his team to a fourth consecutive win if they can knock off the visiting Arizona Cardinals this Sunday at Lambeau Field.
In his weekly meeting with the media, Rodgers talked about losing to the Cardinals in the playoffs three seasons ago, not getting sacked by Arizona's top-ranked pass-rushers and much...
Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III would prefer it if he were compared to Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers instead of Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.

Week 9 Ride ‘Em Or Hide ‘Em QBs
You don’t need me to tell you to start Rodgers, Brees, Ryan or Brady…my mom could figure that out. Let’s look at some other matchups that could be favorable/unfavorable this week:

Only Aaron Rodgers has more points at the QB position over the last 3 weeks. Freeman...
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Aaron Rodgers went back to an old favorite, connecting with Donald Driver on a 4-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to seal Green Bay's 24-15 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
Rodgers threw two touchdowns, passing Bart Starr for second place on Green Bay's all-time list, and Dezman Moses gave the Packers their first touchdown on a...
Packer coach Mike McCarthy conversing with a pair of refs.
The Packers have had plenty of calls go against them this season, but they’ve also taken advantage of some penalties that have gone in their favor.
Remember the Packers opening drive against the Texans? Aaron Rodgers missed an open James Jones deep and we all groaned while trying to figure out what the heck was wrong...
GREEN BAY, Wis. It wasn't just an ugly win for the Packers. No, this was something far more concerning for a team with seemingly legitimate Super Bowl aspirations.
Green Bay's 24-15 victory over the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars in front of 70,000 cheeseheads at Lambeau Field was an unimpressive performance against an inferior opponent. And the Packers knew it, too.
What we saw Sunday was quite possibly the worst offensive performance of the Drew Brees era. The unit looked out of synch all game and hurt themselves by not making plays that were there to make. Protection was actually decent, as they did a good job limiting Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil for the most part. But every time a play was there to be made, a critical drop, a poor play...
The Philadelphia Eagles have a quarterback and a coach both likely playing for their jobs. The New Orleans Saints are off to their worst start in the Drew Brees era following the best regular season in franchise history.
Arguably the league's two most desperate teams entering Week 9, either the Eagles or the Saints will be in even worse shape after Monday night's game in...
Blaine Gabbert, the least productive quarterback in the NFL, threw for more yards in the first half than Aaron Rodgers did for the entire game. Nonetheless, an energized defense shut the door on the Jaguars in the second half.
