TEAMS: Philadelphia Eagles, Arizona Cardinals
It is only the matter of a few more days before the expected firing of head coach Andy Reid from the Philadelphia Eagles. Reid is currently the longest tenured head coach in the NFL, a streak which will end in about 72 hours or so. Reid will land a job with any team he wants after his release. He’s a good coach but a change is needed in Philadelphia where the organization needs a fresh start. Could Andy Reid wind up coaching the Arizona Cardinals in 2013?
Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt is likely to be fired at the end of the season. After starting the season 4-0, the Cardinals dropped nine straight games and 10 of their last 11. The team is in complete disarray. The offensive line is horrible, there is no running game and most importantly, Arizona lacks a starting quarterback. Enter Andy Reid.
Reid is known for developing quarterbacks. One of his former projects happens to be on the current roster, Kevin Kolb. Could the addition of Andy Reid salvage Kolb’s career in Arizona? Re...

Maybe Andy Reid isn't going anywhere
Andy Reid has been fired by nearly everyone except the man in charge.
It's a foregone conclusion in Philadelphia and around the NFL that Reid will coach his last game with the Eagles on Sunday at the New York Giants. Fans already have a wish list for a new coach and the media has speculated for months about Reid's successor.

Top 5 Candidates To Replace Andy Reid In Philly
Let me just preface this article by saying that there is no official list out there for the favorite candidates to replace Andy Reid. This list is my own. I based my list of candidates similarly to what a Team President, General Manager or Owner would base there list off of. They will be looking for leadership qualities, NFL experience, potential as a long-term head coach, the effort...
Andy Reid wants to coach in 2013
In the coming days it’s expected that longtime Eagles head coach Andy Reid will get the boot after completing yet another disappointing season. Eagles Fans Left Teased as Reid Era Ends
Fourteen years of frustration
Fourteen years in any sport is an eternity. Most player’s careers start and end well before then. But a coach’s career can last as long as he wants, provided he’s good. However, Eagles fans have been shackled with Andy Reid, who within this time period, hasn’t been very good since his one Super Bowl appearance after the 2004 season.
Reid’s...
As if we needed another reason to hate the Eagles
There is nothing likable about the Philadelphia Eagles. Well, except maybe Andy Reid. I mean, the guy is a walking talking walrus who seems to be a pretty decent dude. But he is about to make an exit stage left, and that means there really isn’t a darn thing to like about that organization. They [...]

Sharp rescues Forest late on
Alex McLeish's first game in charge of Nottingham Forest ended in a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace as Billy Sharp equalised in stoppage time.
McLeish, appointed on Thursday after the Al Hasawi family dispensed of Sean O'Driscoll's services on Boxing Day just hours after the 4-2 home win over Leeds, received a good reception prior to kick-off at the City Ground.

Always Be Covering: Wasted Season
Last Week: 3-2-1
Overall: 49-44-3
Well not a total waste, hopefully. We’ve had some fun, and won a few more than we lost. Plus, there’s always Top Chef and the Playoffs. All of the AFC playoff teams are set, all that’s left to figure out is who plays who, and by how much the Chiefs will lose. The NFC is a lot more interesting, but if I think about the NFC East situation for...
