The Philadelphia Eagles debuted their new offense under Chip Kelly on Monday night and it did not disappoint. It was fast paced and fun to watch. The key to this offense is the up-tempo play of veteran quarterback Michael Vick. Vick has a long injury history and he was seen spotted hobbling around the locker room after the Eagles defeat of the Washington Redskins.
Accroding to CSNPhiladelphia, Vick was spotted “hobbling” after the contest while speaking to reporters.
Vick refuses to slide when he scrambles and was dealt some tough hits on Monday. Vick was slow to get up on several occasions. There was some concern over a groin muscle injury in the second half.
While his next start is likely not in jeopardy, it has to be very disappointing to see a player that has such an injury history already banged up after just one week. Fantasy football owners that have Vick on their roster should have a solid number 2 in place moving forward. Chances are, if the hits continue, at some point thi...

According to CSNPhilly.com, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick was seen hobbling after last night’s win over the Redskins.
Vick had a great game, but took way too many shots and failed to protect himself, which isn’t a surprise given his injury history.
I find it really interesting that Eagles head coach Chip Kelly and Vick aren’t worried about him getting injured. Sadly enough...
Michael Vick is fast. The Eagles’ offense on Monday night was even faster.
Chip Kelly‘s influence on the Eagles’ new-look offense was obvious against Washington on Monday. The Eagles ran 77 offensive plays in the game, some which happened within 10-12 seconds of one another. At times, the Eagles looked like they weren’t even communicating with one another anymore, but rather...
Just try to keep up with Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy and the Philadelphia Eagles this season. Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins sure couldn't.
Playing at a frenetic pace that left the Redskins bumbling and stumbling, the Eagles unleashed coach Chip Kelly's offense on the NFL and crammed 77 plays into 60 minutes of football. They had their share of miscues, of...
Chip Kelly is a football maniac, and get this, he thinks his team can play faster.
While addressing the media today after getting his first victory as an NFL coach, Kelly said that “the pace of the offense was too slow, and that they can go faster” according to Birds 24/7.

Although the Eagles offense will be the story, the defense played very well for most of...

While Chip Kelly's offense received most of the attention for a sensational start, the Philadelphia Eagles' defense also had an impressive debut.
That's the bigger surprise.
The Eagles were expected to score plenty of points with Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson playing in Kelly's up-tempo offense. But the defense figured to have some growing pains...
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Fast, faster and fastest -- so it goes for Oregon football, which hasn't missed a beat after former skipper Chip Kelly raced to the NFL to coach the Eagles.
After leading the nation in scoring last season, the second-ranked Ducks are at it again this year under rookie head coach Mark Helfrich, the offensive coordinator under Kelly the past four years. His...
The Washington Redskins' home opener on Monday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles was one of the most hyped openers in recent memory. While Chip Kelly's high-speed offense was a big deal, the primary storyline was the return of Robert Griffin III. We heard it all. We saw it all. Operation patience, the “blow it up” commercial, and the so-called riff between...
The new version of the Philadelphia Eagles offense was a rousing success in the season opener - at least for 2 1/2 quarters.
Same goes for the San Diego Chargers, though they came away much more disappointed.
Despite successfully debuting his up-tempo style as Eagles coach, Chip Kelly would like his offense to pick up the pace even more for Sunday's matchup with the visiting...
