After the Denver Broncos finished defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in a surprisingly tight game on Sunday, Jamaal Charles was quite excited with what took place. Sure, his Chiefs lost again to fall to 1-10, but that hardly came as a shock to anyone who has been paying attention for the past few months.
What got Charles all giddy was what he received from opposing quarterback, Peyton Manning, after the game.
“My mom wanted this autograph,” Charles told KCTV after they showed video of him waiting around after the game to see the broncos’ new franchise quarterback.
Charles was not the only player who stuck around to visit with the opposition. Dwayne Bowe also got a chance to meet Manning after the loss, but opted for a picture with the quarterback instead of an autograph.
“It’s Peyton Manning,” he said. “Who wouldn’t want a picture with him?”
