It appears that there is a chance that Michael Vick might make one more start for the Philadelphia Eagles this season. Rookie QB Nick Foles suffered a hairline fracture in his hand during Sunday’s loss to the Washington Redskins. He sustained the injury to his hand near the end of the first-half and Eagles head coach Andy Reid told the media this afternoon that Foles will not start in the team’s season finale.
There are expected to be some wholesale changes for the Eagles this offseason with Reid along with Michael Vick expected to be somewhere else next season.
Reid told reporters Monday morning that it looks as if Vick will be the starting quarterback this week. “There’s a pretty good chance that Mike will be the starter. That’s what I’m looking at right now. That’s the direction I’m going in as we speak right now, ” Reid stated.
