Found March 16, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
Mike Freeman of CBS Sports reports that there are some teams with interest in free agent WR Randy Moss. Freeman’s sources admitted that it remains to be seen whether or not Moss will return for another season in the league. Freeman adds that the 49ers aren’t believed to be one of the interested teams. His sources also mentioned that these clubs don’t view Moss as a starter, but believe he could be a “valuable contributor.“ The Saints brought Moss in for a tryout last year before he ultimately reached an agreement with the 49ers. New Orleans could use another receiver as Devery Henderson is also an unrestricted free agent, so this is at least a remote possibility. Moss has clearly lost a step and is no longer a deep threat capable of taking the top off opposing defenses. I guess we’ll have to see if he’s even willing to return before we have an idea of which teams could be interested.
