PLAYERS: Peyton Manning
Peyton Manning is having a ridiculous year. Not that that is anything new to hear. If Manning continues on his pace, not only will he be the third player to ever win the MVP unanimously, but he will also shatter records and quite possibly be labeled as the best season a player has ever had. Some people may refute the latter of those predictions claiming the NFL is now a pass happy league in which defenses can no longer keep up. That may be true, but the point is moot.None of this, however, matters to Manning. He could break every record in the book. But if he does not win the Super Bowl, the season will be a disappointment. So far in this young season, the Broncos are Super Bowl favorites by a long shot. They have steamrolled every opponent they have faced, except for last week. Last week, the Cowboys nearly pulled an upset and beat the Broncos. Although the Cowboys ultimately lost 51-48 in the fourth highest scoring game of all time, they may have gave some teams hope that they can b...

  • Bring all of those teams we would beat everyone why are you so high on Seattle, and San Francisco, and Green Bay for that matter the team that I think could beat the Broncs is New Orleans Kansas City has not played a team that was full strength I respect your opinions but come on lets get serious
    Gaetano
  • The only team in the NFL that could beat the Denver Broncos, is the Broncos or Coach Fox. When Denver had the ball 1st and goal at the 1yd. line Fox was calling a play to score. That's when P. Manning ran to the sideline told him and reversed everything, just think about it, Romo had thrown for over 500yds. are you going to turn the ball back over to him. If any team in the NFL could beat the Broncos they would have to lead the NFL in pass defense and QB sacks & be able to control the line of scrimmage and run the ball consistently and eat the clock. Keeping Manning off the field. If their is a NFL team out there they would be the only ones to have a chance to beat Denver, period.

Peyton Manning calls the Jaguars a ‘good NFL football team’

In a certain sense, the Jacksonville Jaguars will present the Denver Broncos with a challenge this weekend. If you don’t bring it every single week in the NFL, you could get beat — no matter who the opponent. The Jaguars are arguably the worst team in the NFL this season, but Denver can’t take anyone […]

John Elway: Broncos win over the Cowboys was a ‘confidence builder’

Denver Broncos Executive vice president of football operations John Elway says the Denver Broncos 51-48 win against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday was a “confidence builder.” The win was the narrowest margin of victory so far this season for the 5-0 Broncos. “If you look at the first four

Broncos Aren't As Invincible As Everyone Thinks

The Denver Broncos are 5-0 and are the best team in the National Football League (NFL) according to many of the power rankings on various networks. This probably shouldn't come as a surprise seeing how the odds-makers in Las Vegas had the Broncos as the favorite to win this year's Super Bowl. Before last Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys, some analysts were even...

Who Is Taysom Hill Really?

To say that Taysom Hill has been playing ugly, would be accurate. To say that he has the keys to improve, that is truth. You can’t teach a player speed, but you can teach a player accuracy. That is what is holding Taysom Hill down, is his accuracy. Lets be honest, the comparisons to Steve Young is a bit overreacting. Physically, Taysom beats Steve Young and he also has the better...

Week Six Power Rankings

* THESE RANKINGS ARE BASED NOT JUST ON RECORD, BUT OVERALL PERFORMANCE AND STRENGTH OF TEAM.1) Denver Broncos (5-0) – Peyton Manning is playing at an All-World level. Once they get Von Miller back, that defense is going to be greatly improved. Even so, who is going to score that many points and keep up with them?2) New Orleans Saints (5-0) – Drew Brees is an animal, and Rob Ryan’s...

Pick 6: 3-TD picks, a la Broncos, rarely win big

(Eds: With AP Photos.) By HOWARD FENDRICH AP Pro Football Writer Bad as the expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers were in 1976, going 0-14 on the way to what became a 26-game losing streak, they never were as big of an underdog as the Jacksonville Jaguars are against the Denver Broncos this weekend. And good as the nearly perfect New England Patriots were in 2007, 16-0 during the regular...
