1. QB Tim Tebow Current Team: New York Jets New Team: Jacksonville Jaguars Jacksonville Jaguars GM Gene Smith really missed the boat on Tebow's availability when he landed in New York, but there is still time. The Jaguars are in need of a spark, as well as some more durable performance at the quarterback position.Blane Gabbert is improving and appearing to be serviceable, but he's no Tim Tebow. Gabbert's recent performance aside, he is clearly expendable and is no way an immovable cog of the Jaguar tradition.Inserting Tebow into the teal and black would fill the seats immediately, as a University of Florida superstar, the Gators would congregate in the thousands each Sunday after church to watch Tebow lead his hometown Jaguars on the gridiron. If nothing else for the Jaguars, this would increase their brand recognition, and getting Tebow to Jacksonville is much simpler and easier than flying the entire team to London for the next three years to create an international following.  2. WR Larry FitzgeraldCurrent Team: Arizona CardinalsNew Team: Atlanta Falcons Julio Jones, Roddy White, and Tony Gonzalez snatching balls for the Dirty Birds in the Georgia Dome down in Atlanta, it may come as a surprise that this is where Larry Fitzgerald needs to be, but on further evaluation, this Cardinal needs to upgrade his feathers and become a Falcon.Larry is an incredible pillar in the community in Phoenix, and this really would never happen (because the others are so SOLID as possibilities…) as Fitz looks to be a lifelong Arizona football legend, the Cardinals however are very far away from a Super Bowl run anytime soon, and Larry is not getting any younger, and he is entirely too fantastic of a player to retire without a ring. His move to Atlanta would give the Falcons the best wide receivers in the league, and with Gonzalez likely to retire this year, would allow the Falcons to spread the field even more. With three No. 1 receivers and an MVP candidate in Matt Ryan at the helm, this team would be incredible. Dirty Birds! 3. RB Ryan MathewsCurrent Team: San Diego ChargersNew Team:  Chicago Bears Eliminating Ryan Mathews’ turnover problem as a big “red flag” is the obvious necessity here, but getting as FAR away from Norv Turner as possible would allow Mathews to thrive. With Forte being the blueprint for Mathews success, he would be able to step in and be a 1-2 punch and then eventually turn that time share into a full time role, when Forte moves on.It would look weird seeing him in anything other than powder blue, but what an offense this Bears team would have with a hard running (hopefully healthy) Mathews in the backfield. 4. QB Andrew LuckCurrent Team: Indianapolis Colts  New Team: San Francisco 49ers Joe Montana Jr? Well, don’t know about that, but reuniting with his college coach in Jim Harbaugh and the 49ers established organization for a nice dynasty run would be a great “homecoming” for Luck back to the Bay-area.The quintessential West Coast offense quarterback, Luck would be right at home with the solid running game of the 49ers coupled with their crippling defense.    5. QB Matt StaffordCurrent Team: Detroit Lions  New Team: Dallas Cowboys   As Tony Romo’s seat continues to heat up in BIG D, it might be time for them to bring Stafford home to play for his hometown Boys. Growing up and playing for Highland Park High School, Stafford would like for nothing more than to return and be the savior of this spiraling Dallas Cowboys team.Jerry Jones would be all for it, and replacing Romo would give Dallas just enough excitement to put their franchise back on track. Stafford would have enough weapons to be just as consistent as he has been in Detroit, with a defense that projects to be younger and better than the inconsistent Lions defense. These trades likely will never actually happen, but in the spirit of Thursday’s NFL trade deadline, it would certainly shake things up if they did!
