Yet, what followed was a complete meltdown which showed a mentally weak ...

New York Jets Top Priority Will Be Sanchez

I wouldn’t bank on Peyton Manning coming through that door, New York Jets fans. What I would bank on is General Manager Mike Tannenbaum doing everything in his power this off-season to prevent his franchise quarterback, Mark Sanchez, breaking in his make or break year. The last thing Tannenbaum and this organization want to do is be forced to concede after this season that...

Jets Owner Woody Johnson Backs Mark Sanchez, Doesn't Rule Out Peyton Manning

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Mark Sanchez is still the New York Jets' quarterback of the future. Well, at least for now. Owner Woody Johnson supported his embattled quarterback while meeting with writers who regularly cover the team Thursday for the first time since the Jets finished 8-8 and failed to make the playoffs. But, he also wouldn't rule out the possibility of pursuing...

New York Jets Locker Room: We Get It…

In case you haven’t received the memo yet, the New York Jets locker room was an ugly situation this past season. We have heard the same story reiterated every three days or so since the season ended. Brian Schottenheimer Lands with the St. Louis Rams: Analysis

To start Sam Bradford’s 3rd season he’ll be working with his 3rd different offensive coordinator. Once a superstar in the making, then an example of ’sophomore regression’ – I’m familiar with the term, of course, but it seemed like the buzziest of buzz words, particularly when discussing the likes of Mark Sanchez where it might [...]

Mostly Assurances, But Seeds of Doubt Too

Yesterday when Woody Johnson spoke to reporters, one of the big stories that came up was of course Mark and Tone’s relationship, but one of the other big discussions was around Mark and Peyton, and what the Jets plans for 2012 might be.  Via the NY Post, while Woody gave an endorsement to his QB he also left it out there for the  that the team would do what’s in the...
