The 49ers sat down Thursday night with Louisville cornerback Johnny Patrick. This following his campus Pro Day workout in front of 27 NFL teams.
Patrick ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds after clocking a 4.59 at the NFL scouting combine. Patrick intercepted five passes last season and was invited to the Senior Bowl, but didn’t participate due to an injury. He returned one for a touchdown, recording 51 tackles and 17 pass deflections.
“I was pleased with how I did today,” said Patrick, an All-Big East Conference selection who blocked a kick and forced a fumble in a bowl game win over Southern Miss. “I feel very confident in my ability and I look forward to seeing where I fall in the upcoming draft.”
