HBO is finding it tough going to lure a big market team to open the doors for an offseason of their "Hard Knocks" series. One NFL insider told us, there's no chance the Patriots would ever get on that list. They're probably right. The Cincinnati Bengals however, ARE reportedly one of the teams still in the mix.

The Cincinnati Bengals currently have six cornerbacks on their roster who were first-round selections. There's a good chance that at least one of them will not be on the roster when the season starts at Baltimore on Sept. 10.
Last year the Bengals had four first-rounders, but they struggled over the second half of the season when Leon Hall went down with a season-ending Achilles...
Former Wisconsin offensive lineman Kevin Zeitler no longer has to worry about his first contract, so hes turned his attention to something to help get around Cincinnati.
The Bengals announced Friday that they had signed Zeitler to a four-year contract.

"My younger brother owned one before me. I...
The Bengals are having as close to an open competition for the #2 receiver job as you possibly can get. Rookies Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones, inexperienced former undrafted free agent Armon Binns, and Patriots castoff Brandon Tate are all in the running. If you ask the man who they are competing to line up opposite, AJ Green, Mohamed Sanu is the favorite.
Green praised Sanu’s...

The Bengals had already signed Alabama cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, the 17th overall pick. They got that selection by trading quarterback Carson Palmer to the Raiders last season.

Zeitler, the 27th overall pick, was the second offensive guard drafted in 2012. The Steelers drafted David DeCastro 24th overall. Hot News for C Marvin Lewis
The Cincinnati Bengals are supporting one of their undrafted rookies who was sentenced to three years in prison this week. Linebacker Brandon Joiner's sentencing on Wednesday stems from a 2007 incident when he was an 18-year-old at Texas A&M. He and a teammate allegedly broke into an apartment, assaulted two men, restrained them with duct tape and stole their wallets, cell...
Welcome to the Bengals...maybe later
I’ll spare all the cheap Bungles jailbird jokes and gibberish. Cincinnati had a remarkable run through 2007-08 that clearly illustrated their penchant for bringing on players to the roster with less-than-sterling pasts. No matter how you slice the “giving guys a chance argument,” it went to some fairly preposterous levels during a 14-month...

Since the mid-2000s, the Bengals have had this image of being a safe haven for criminals, miscreants and other NFL players who have had legal run-ins. From 2005-2008, the amount of Bengal player arrests was staggering and it led to a number of players being suspended and/or booted from the team. It hindered the franchise's growth, as the club...
