By coach Jim Schwartz's count, the Lions dropped six passes Sunday in their 17-10 loss to St. Louis. Wide receiver Dennis Northcutt considered himself responsible for three of them.
"I can't speak about nobody else, but me dropping balls is part of the reason why we lost," Northcutt said. "That's how I look at it. So I've got to get my job done on Sunday. When you're part of a team and you don't get your job done, you've really got to take a look in the mirror, and I take it really seriously."
When Northcutt looked in the mirror - er, at the film - what did he see?
"It's not that I have bad hands," Northcutt said. "Each one was something different. Why didn't I catch the ball? I go back and analyze that and I look at it and I fix it.
