George Wilson felt his chances of playing this week compared to last week were significantly better. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be playing out that way. Head coach Chan Gailey admitted after Thursday’s practice without Wilson that the strong safety would be a long shot for Sunday’s game. “I’m getting less optimistic every day,” Gailey said with respect to Wilson’s chances of playing. Wilson has missed the last two games with a neck stinger, which has compromised the strength in his arm. Da’Norris Searcy would make his third straight start Sunday, if Wilson cannot return to the lineup.
