Not So Fast, Plax

In other news today (two posts in one day! Awesome!), the Plaxico Burress-To-Philly rumors have a flip side to talk about: Jeff McLane wrote on his Twitter account that the interest is totally on the side of Plaxico and not the Eagles, "Trust me on this." That's good, I will continue to say that he will be, at best, a #4 receiver. That's if he can beat out Riley Cooper for the #4 spot.I mean, if we can sign him to a small deal with little to no guaranteed money, go for it. I don't think we should pay him like a starter because I don't think he'll be one. Then again, I said the same thing about Michael Vick. Though Vick was 29 when we signed him and Burress will be 34 soon. Either way, I don't think we need the guy, we have holes on our roster and none of them are at the wide receiver position. Please Jeff Lurie, let's focus on cornerback or linebacker or even running back! Not Plaxico because Andy Reid loves giving guys second chances. Photo Source
