Injuries a Concern for Super Bowl Champs

Justin Tuck (Photo by Jim Mancari) Jim Mancari BGB Assistant Editor Every team in the NFL deals with injuries every season. It’s a given. The Giants this preseason have been hit somewhat hard by the injury bug. With the season less than a week away, I’ll admit that I’m a little concerned that the team won’t be at full strength on Wednesday against the...

New York Giants Cut Running Back D.J. Ware

In perhaps the most surprising roster move of the New York Giants offseason, the team has decided to cut veteran running back D.J. Ware less than a week before week one of the regular season. Ware has been a reliable third-down back for Big Blue throughout the past few seasons, and even seemed to be running with a new ferociousness as the preseason has progressed. D.J. Ware has...

Mathias Kiwanuka Burns Jerry Jones With Response to Cowboys Owner's Remarks

The NFL season will begin in less than a week when NFC East rivals New York and Dallas square off in primetime in front of a national TV audience. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones fired the first salvo when he said this: Fair enough. Of course,...

During that stretch the Giants have gone 6-2 in the series and look to continue their streak on NFL opening weekend.
