The Space Mountain-like slide that the New York football Giants have taken this year was a suprise to all the people I talked to pre-season.Except my boy Bucko. "They are gonna suck, dude. I bet you (unknown amount) that they don't win 9 games all year." That bet is starting to look like a mortal lock for Bucko, despite the G-Men winning their last two.Oakland, on the other hand has not been good since Rich Gannon was their quarterback.Remember, they played Tampa and their old coach, who promptly used his prior knowledge of the team to deliver an ultra savage head kicking to his old boys. There is hope however, in the form of one Terrelle Pryor. The kid has fans thinking future in a town that can only smile about the distant past. The thing that these two have in common is that you never know who you are going to get when you play them. Both teams can look ok, in fact the Raiders can look good (San Diego game, first half of the Pitt game), but what's going to happen when they meet in the Medowlands?1. Long bombs from Pryor to Denarius Moore.Pryor can run and the Giants know this. He also has a cannon for an arm. The Giants also know this fact. Unlike his rushing ability, New York will ignore this fact. This will lead to at least one play of Pryor to Moore  of 60+ yards. I hope it's only one.2. Andre Brown and the White Rhino will run all over the Raiders.Brown is back and chomping at the bit to show the league that the Giants can pound the rock, despite earlier attempts to do so. (Wilson!!!!!! I'm sorry!!! Come back, Wilson!!!) Hillis will add yards out of the backfield with his short recieving game. They will look good.We will be stunned.3. Eli will neither win or lose the game for the Giants. He will play ok, one int and two TDs with one going to Hillis. Not alot of yards, just solid and boring. The downside is no love for Victor Cruz's fantasy owners. The upside is far fewer smashed TV's and traumatized dogs in the tri-state area. Baby steps, Eli.
