Oakland Raiders Kicker Eddy Carmona sits down with NFLDraftZone’s GuruNation Last year Eddy Carmona the Harding University star that crushed a 63 yard field goal, had a short stint with the Oakland Raiders. After being released at the end of the preseason Eddy was working hard to find another job in the NFL.  Well after having a child, Eddy never lost focus of his dream.  He had a work out with Green Bay this off-season but was not signed.  He was hoping for another call, and just when you thought the rosters were full, the Oakland Raiders gave him another call.  Eddy signed a free agent deal with the Raiders and is excited to be back on the roster.  Could the Raiders go towards a brand new Special Teams Unit this year?  There is a new coach?  Bobby April is famous for taking his guys and leading the division. He did it in Buffalo when he released his veteran Punter for a division 2 prospect named Brian Moorman.  How did that work out folks?  With Shane Lechler leaving town to Houston, new punter Marquette King will be expected to fill the shoes.  Could Eddy Carmona be the heir replacement of Sebastian Janokowski?   Check out this awesome interview with Eddy, by Gurunation’s @JustinLumLive and @DHawk_19.

A product of Duke University, Vernon was called ‘Wes Welker like’ and a ‘technician’ by Mel...
