Off-Season Predictions

With the meat of the NFL off season quickly approaching I would like to offer up what I think should or could go down.

#1. Mcnabb gets a new contract. The extention should free up even more cap room for this year and next year. More garunteed money for him in the long run and a promise to bring in more talent would go a long way. This move sets the tone for which direction you are headed this off season.

#2. Sign or draft a second running back. Bwest is one of the best in the NFL when healthy. Like I said, when healthy. There are a few options come draft day such as Wells, McCoy, my favorite Moreno. One of them should be there, however where I think they fill this hole is free agency. They can pick up a skilled vet on the cheap such as Ward, Fred Taylor, maybe even Deshaun Foster or Maurice Morris.

#3. Shuffle Line around and draft a few to groom. I think they will sign Tra' and he will change his name back to William. Move the big kid outside to tackle and shuffle in Jean Giles and Herrimans. Andy will draft atleast 2 O-lineman to groom.

#4. Big, strong WR. All of the idiots will say we do not need one. Blah, blah, blah. We need a better threat in the red zone, period. A WR like that would complement the two smaller, quicker ones we have. Names such as Boldin who we would have to trade a #1 pick for, or Housh who we could sign come to mind. I want Boldin but they do not like giving up those picks.

#5. Sign Dawk for another year and finally draft a replacement. Dawk showed he can still do it but how much more does he really have? Not too many great prospects in the draft but maybe they will get lucky. Or just cross your fingers for Taylor Mays next year! P.S. I think Q may be headed to the pro bowl next year! Just a hunch....

#6. You can never have too many Dlinemen. Draft um.....

Lastly, anyone else thinking maybe draft a kicker?
