I hesitate to even put a depth chart together after one practice because everything is so fluid. Coach Jim Mora said as much after Friday's practice, especially along the offensive line.
"It's a little bit of a puzzle," Mora said.
One with pieces that are still moving after Mike Wahle's release on Thursday. Rob Sims moved from right to left guard and Mansfield Wrotto practiced as the first-string right guard. But at some point in training camp, Wrotto could also see some time at center.
Sean Locklear has started at right tackle the past four seasons, but Mora said Friday that they will be taking a look at him at right guard some. Not only that, but Locklear will play left tackle, filling in for Jones who is limited in practice as he recovers from knee surgery.
Throw in the fact that the entire line is adjusting to the zone-blocking scheme the team is implementing and it's a period of adjustment.
