According to a report from RotoWire.com, the Kansas City Chiefs released veteran DB Stanford Routt from the roster. Routt has put up 21 tackles with a forced fumble on top of 2 interceptions through his 8 games with the Chiefs. With him among the free agents, a lot of teams will be looking to add him to their roster to beef up depth for the stretch towards the playoffs. So should the Patriots go after him to further bolster their secondary after the Talib deal?HELL NOOOOOO!!We are trying to move forward, not backward. With the Talib deal already in the books we need to focus on bringing him up to speed and finding our strategy going forward, aka McCourty as full-time safety. It is not time to jump ship and bail just yet on this team, we are still winning games with the defense we have. Make small changes like we already have and ...
