Fox Sports Wisconsin:
GREEN BAY, Wis. It was almost too easy. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' high-scoring, pass-first, multi-threat offense were nearly unstoppable throughout most of last season. Rodgers seemed capable of executing Green Bay's scheme while methodically spreading his passes around to whichever receiver he wanted. At times, the ease with which he did so made it appear as if Rodgers could make any throw at any time and have it result in a positive play.
Setting an NFL record for the best passer rating in a single season validated just how on-point Rodgers was with the Packers' talented and deep group of wide receivers. With 45 touchdown passes and six interceptions resulting in the NFL's Most Valuable Player award, Rodgers led Green Bay's offense to near the top of the league in almost every passing category.
The chances of Rodgers and the Packers being able to duplicate -- or improve upon -- last season are slim. But, despite having their worst game of the year in th...

WHO NEEDS TECHNOLOGY?
Packers tight end D.J. Williams said he has come back looking stronger this year in training camp because he wrestled cows during the offseason.
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It wasn't quite a Lambeau Leap, but Packers wide receiver Tori Gurley did the next best thing during Day 4 of Packers training camp.
Practicing across the street from Lambeau Field at the team's outdoor facility, Ray Nitschke Field, Gurley got up-close and personal with a few of the approximately 2,000 fans in attendance.
Gurley, Green Bay's tallest...
When the Green Bay Packers decided not to re-sign veteran running back Ryan Grant in the offseason, they didn't quite know if one of his potential replacements would be ready for the start of the upcoming season.
But Alex Green appears to be a fast healer.
The second-year player has caught the eye of coaches and teammates since returning to the field for the start of the Packers...
Green Bay Packers tight end D.J. Williams may have the most unusual offseason work out routine of any football player ever. Believe it or not, he says that he wrestles cows to stay in shape during the offseason.
“I wrestle cows every day,” Williams said. “Back home in Arkansas, we don’t have anything else to do.”
Williams said that having roommates that were from the...
The Green Bay Packers open training camp this year with some concerns to key players from last years team. Missing from practice was Jermichael Finely and his wife stated that Jermichael was out with a mild concussion. Courtney Finely continued on Twitter reporting that Jermichael received the mild concussion during practice. This story was supported by Green Bay Packer head coach...
Anthony Hargrove is back with the Packers.
The defensive linemen missed two practices with a personal matter but returned on Monday. He gets limited snaps because of his impending eight-game suspension to start the regular season for his involvement in the New Orleans Saints' bounty scandal.
That doesn't stop him from being boisterous and energetic. He has fun with jawing...
(Eds: Incorporates FBN--Packers-Finley. With AP Photos.) Marshall Newhouse isn't taking anything for granted.
The third-year offensive lineman enters training camp as the Green Bay Packers' starting left tackle after starting 13 games last season and with his primary competition, 2011 first-round pick Derek Sherrod, injured.
Newhouse made it clear Friday that he doesn&...
Defensive end Anthony Hargrove, already facing an eight-game suspension for his role in the Saints bounty pool, has been released by the Green Bay Packers.
The NFL has said the Saints' bounty program paid defensive players improper cash bonuses for hits that injured opponents from 2009 through 2011.
The 29-year-old Hargrove has denied NFL accusations that he lied to league...
GREEN BAY, Wis. One of the most competitive position battles taking place in Packers training camp is to see which cornerback wins the starting outside spot on the opposite side of proven veteran Tramon Williams.
After three training camp practices, seventh-year player Jarrett Bush appears to be in the lead by a relatively significant margin. Sam Shields, who had a very good rookie...
GREEN BAY, Wis. As the Packers put on pads Saturday for the first time this season on Day 3 of training camp practices, there were a few important players missing.
Wide receiver Greg Jennings was out with an elbow bruise, an injury he suffered during Friday's practice. But coach Mike McCarthy wasn't too concerned about Jennings' status going forward.
After Friday’s practice, Jerel Worthy’s praises were being sung. After Saturday’s practice, Mike Daniels got some attention. Head coach Mike McCarthy likes what he sees thus far in two rookies in an effort to put some “juice” back in the Packers' defensive line.
