James Jones Apparently Wants to Stay in Green Bay. Just would like the ball a little more. Aaron Rodgers torched the NFL last season. On his way to 15 wins, Rodgers did whatever he wanted to opposing defenses. When given time, he picked secondaries apart. When faced with pressure, he easily galloped for a first down. And if he wanted to kick field goals, he probably would have excelled there as well. He was incredible. Perhaps his most incredible trait, however, was his ability to spread the ball amongst his receivers–15 Packers caught passes from Rodgers last season. Anybody is a receiving option for Aaron Rodgers. If Aaron Rodgers had a receiving core of only high school players, he’d find a way to still throw for 4,000 yards. So, he’d probably get along just fine without wide receiver James Jones. And evidently, James Jones would get along just fine if he was never a member of the Cincinnati Bengals. According to Paul Imig of Fox Sports Wisconsin, when talking about possi...

Report: Packers tried to deal James Jones prior to the draft

Getty Images According to Aaron Nagler of, the Green Bay Packers were actively shopping wide receiver James Jones before this year’s draft, but were unable to stir up any interest. One of  Jones’ problems is that he dropped a lot of passes last season, despite the fact that he has a knack for making big plays.  This is clearly something that will deter teams...

No haircut in sight for Packers' McMillian

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Long hair in the NFL is not uncommon. Despite the fact a player's lengthy locks can legally be pulled on or grabbed by an opponent and that they can frequently get stuck in a helmet, shoulder pads or other equipment, there are still several examples of long hair on every team across the league. However, the NFL may have a new champion in the fantastic follicles...

Packers' Bulaga wants to stay at right tackle

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- When the Packers used the 23rd overall pick in the 2010 draft to select offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga, it made sense. At the time, veteran left tackle Chad Clifton was about to begin his 11th NFL season at age 34, and his days as a starter appeared to be winding down. Bulaga, who played left tackle at Iowa and was the Big Ten's offensive lineman of the year...

Packers’ Jerron McMillian has not gotten a haircut in more than seven years

A lot of players in the NFL like to rock the long hair look — particularly defenders. While offensive players are welcome to sport it as well, it’s a little more risky since it is part of the uniform and something defenders can grab onto to bring them down. Oftentimes we will see a running back get taken down by his dreads and wonder why he doesn’t just get a haircut. As Packers...

Packers rookie safety Jerron McMillian may have NFL's longest hair

Ego check: Are the Packers overloaded at WR?

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It's difficult to imagine that an NFL offense could have too many weapons, but that could be the problem facing Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers heading into this season. With a group of receivers that is deep, talented and arguably the best in the NFL, Rodgers has to complete passes while also trying to keep everyone happy. But that difficult task...
