Panthers talking to former Wolfpack CB

The Panthers have stayed quiet, but they are doing a little business behind the scenes.  Along the lines of the Wallace Wright signing earlier this week, they've discussed a deal with San Francisco CB Marcus Hudson, an N.C. State product who's primarily a special teams player. Doesn't sound like anything that's happening immediately, but it does reflect the way they're doing business at the moment -- low profile (i.e. cheap) guys only.— Darin Gantt
