The Patriots have doled out their annual awards for hard work and improvement in the offseason. Here's a look at each recipient, who will each receive a prime parking space at Gillette Stadium for their efforts. While Amendola is under a lot of pressure, he can also look at the situation as an opportunity to succeed with a Hall of Fame quarterback delivering him the ball. Early observations at camp have noted that Amendola has already developed some chemistry with Tom Brady (more on him in a second); its likely this is the result of lots of offseason work between the two (only some of which was joined by Terrell Owens). Tom Brady The legendary quarterback was a mainstay on this list from 2001-2007, but hasn't appeared since as fatherhood and other, ahem, obligations have taken up more of his time during the offseason. Brady's...

Tom Brady Praises Young Receivers for Hard Work, Intelligence As Patriots Try to Get on Same Page Quickly

FOXBORO, Mass. – Tom Brady has a challenge ahead of him this summer: to get six rookie wide receivers on the same page before the Patriots’ first preseason game against the Eagles — and even more importantly, before the team’s first regular season game in just 40 days. Brady’s taking a patient approach this season (though he’s kind of forced to). There have been few vocal...

Danny Amendola looking good at Patriots camp

According to Field Yates of ESPNBoston.com, Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola looked pretty good the other day despite some rainy weather. “We got a lot of good work in,” he said. “A little wet at times, but a lot of good work. Everybody seemed really happy to be out here and it’s a good first day.” Though others endured some struggles in handling the football in the...

Tom Brady answers the "impatient" question regarding young receivers.

The list of receivers who've flunked out of Foxboro is a long one. Joey Galloway, Chad OchoCinco, Bethel Johnson, Reche Caldwell, and a host of others have come to New England, only to leave with a big red "F" on their report cards. The rumors have persisted that QB Tom Brady may not have the patience with guys not being able to get on the same page. He addressed that...

Dobson and Brady Connecting in Camp

New draft pick Aaron Dobson impressed all the spectators in the second practice of this young season grabbing two of what are circus catches to most, but just another catch in the day of the Marshall wide receiver. I managed to make it up to Gillette Stadium today. Here are my observations from today's practice.   No Dobson, More KT/Boyce The biggest story from today’s practice is clearly the absence of rookie receiver Aaron Dobson. After impressing early in camp, the second round draft pick didn’t practice today due to an apparent injury Dobson is out on the field watching practice...

Aaron Dobson Impresses With Terrific Second Day at Patriots Training Camp, Beginning to Earn Tom Brady’s Trust

FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots took a bunch of swings on young receivers this spring, hoping that one would pan out. If Saturday’s session at training camp is any indication, Aaron Dobson might be that guy. Dobson worked with the first-team offense for the second straight day in an attempt to build a rapport with Tom Brady, and he seemed to do just that. Brady looked the rookie’s...
