Elvis Dumervil is available because basically the papers for his new restructured contract in Denver weren't submitted on time (Read here, there was a faxing issue). So, he's fired his agent and moved onto maybe re-sign with Denver or find another team.
The whole thing has caused Denver to have $4.87 million in dead money, and Dumverill just lost on the around $8 million he was going to make. He's not likely to get that much on the open market. Paul Kruger was the highest paid pass rusher so far and he received $8 million. Denver can only offer him around $4 million now.
So, where will Elvis sign? And could it be with the Patriots?
Apparently the Ravens are being the most aggressive with this, but talks will have to talk until after the NFL Owners meetings this week in Arizona. The Patriots name has popped up though.
