NFL Injury Report:
Rumors of potential New England Patriots’ interest in free
agent Terrell Owens began swirling when the wide receiver was seen catching
passes from quarterback Tom Brady while they worked out together at the
University of Southern California. However, speculation was quickly squashed,
as Jeff Howe of The Boston Herald reported yesterday that the Patriots do not
have interest in Owens.
While Owens does want to continue his playing career in the
NFL, there is nothing going on between the veteran and the Patriots. Owens has
been discussing a potential return with several teams throughout the offseason,
but New England isn’t one of them.
Owens has been out of the NFL since the 2010 season, as he’s
been dealing with injuries over the past couple of years. In 2010 – as a member

Desperate to again receive an NFL paycheck, loathsome wide receiver Terrell Owens trained with legendary Patriots quarterback Tom Brady at USC on Wednesday. Although New England needs help at wideout, don’t expect the 39-year-old Owens to get a job in Foxborough. The 6-foot-3, 225 pound Owens, who was comically axed and stripped of his ownership stake in the iconic Allen Wranglers...
What kind of a virtual ruckus do you think would be caused by a headline like this:
Terrell Owens to Join Tom Brady in New England
I can only imagine the firestorm that would raise. Funny thing is that the notion of Terrell Owens bringing his considerable yet aging talents to the Patriots could actually happen.
Speculation is going to run rampant until the New...
Yesterday, much to the approval of Patriots nation, Brady was spotted on the USC practice field throwing passes to his newest weapon in the slot, Danny Amendola. It's great to see them getting after it early and working to develop chemistry. It was also good to see Brady back out there again today. But this time, his target was a bit more surprising. Yes, today on the USC practice...
Start up those T.O. to the Patriots rumors, that will be way off base. It isn’t unusual for T.O. to work out with NFL players, doesn’t mean he is going to get signed.
The chances are high that he has played his final game in the NFL. Teams would just rather develop younger wide receivers than deal with a high profile older one like Terrell Owens. That goes for most position...
Is this a sign that the New England Patriots are considering picking up 39-year-old wide receiver Terrell Owens, as the two were spotted in Los Angeles on Wednesday at the University of Southern California Trojans facility doing throwing/catching drills.Owens tweeted about the workout noting that it also involved former New England Patriots, now Minnesota Vikings, QB Matt Cassel...
Terrell Owens was spotted working out with New England quarterback Tom Brady Wednesday at USC's practice facility. SOURCE: ESPN BostonFantasy Spin:Of course now the rumor is that Owens will be a Patriot in 2013. Bill Belichick has taken risks on high maintenance big names before (Corey Dillon, Albert Haynesworth, Randy Moss and Chad Johnson/Ochocinco to name a few) but keep in...
New England Patriots QB Tom Brady has been working out in LA this week. He was spotted at USC working out with his new receiving target, Danny Amendola on Tuesday. Wednesday brought a new target for Brady to play catch with, former NFL receiver Terrell Owens. T.O. has been keeping in NFL shape in hopes that he’ll be picked up by a team next season. Terrell is 39 and turns 40 in...
T.O. is the latest football player to join Tom Brady for offseason workouts.
Terrell Owens tweeted Tuesday afternoon that he was about to work out with Brady and Matt Cassel at UCLA. Owens must have made a minor mistake, because it turns out they were really practicing at USC.
The USC Trojans athletic department confirmed that was the case:
Today, New England @patriots QB Tom Brady...
Tom Brady spent Tuesday throwing passes to his newest weapon in Danny Amendola. On Wednesday, he was back at it again. Only this time he shared the field with a very different target.
Brady got together with six-time Pro Bowl receiver Terrell Owens on Wednesday, throwing him passes and just getting a good workout in out on the field at USC’s practice facility. Brady shared the...
