Patriots Sign Ex-Bill Stroud

The Patriots have announced signing former Bill DE Marcus Stroud to a two-year deal.  At his age, his play was declining and he struggled to get off blocks this past season (let alone taking up double-teams like the Patriots’ system asks for out of their ends).  Normally, I would think Belichick was signing him to use him for information on our defense, only to cut him before the season.  However, a two-year deal seems like an actual signing.
