According to, Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez (ankle) is a “virtual certainty” to miss Sunday’s game against the Broncos. Hernandez missed practice Wednesday. reports that Hernandez has a shot to be ready for the Week 6 game in Seattle, but notes that “would be a quick recovery” from a high ankle sprain. Originally, Hernandez was slapped with a 4-6 week timetable after going down in Week 2.

According to Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe, the New England Patriots have listed tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Broncos. Logan Mankins and Dont’a Hightower are also questionable. Julian Edelman and Steeve Gregory have been ruled out.
