Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images The New England Patriots make their business trip to London to face the St. Louis Cardinals without their playmaker at tight end, Aaron Hernandez.  He suffered a setback in practice earlier in the week with difficulty making cuts due to an ankle injury. Hernandez left the game early in a loss to the Cardinals on September 16th when teammate Julian Edelman rolled up on the tight end’s ankle after being tackled.  The injury forced Hernandez to miss the next three games.  He returned October 14th against Seattle and was productive with a touchdown, and caught 5 catches for 54 yards last week against the Jets. ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported that Hernandez’ ankle has not responded well to treatment.  With a bye next week, this should buy time for him to get back to form. Hernandez isn’t the only Patriot who will not suit up.  6 other players are officially ruled out of this week 8 contest, including Patrick Chung (shoulder), Steve Gregory (hip), Brandon Bolden (knee), Tracy White (foot), and Trevor Scott (hamstring).  Cornerback Ras-I Dowling is also out with a thigh injury and has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season.
