Six-year veteran lineman Erik Pears was brought in this week. With a few seasons of being a starter under his belt and not a lot of experienced depth at the tackle positions on Buffalo offensive line, it seems possible that Pears could have a future with the Bills. Obviously, a lot has to do with what he can show in the practice setting over these last three weeks of the season, but Pears, who has bounced around this season from team to team wouldn’t mind finding a more permanent role somewhere in the league. “I think every opportunity I’ve been given I try to work hard and constantly try to improve where I need to improve and that’s always been my mentality,” Pears said. ”Just do the best I can do and then let the chips fall where they may.
