Gotta get some of the Dog. Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

A Pennsylvania brewing company is capitalizing on the Philadelphia Eagles role as underdog throughout the NFL playoffs. Despite being the No. 1 seed in the NFC, the Eagles have been the underdog in each of their playoff games and will once again be the underdog in Super Bowl LII.

To celebrate the team’s Super Bowl run, Stable 12 Brewing Co. created “Underdog Lager.”

Not surprisingly, the company quickly sold out of its stock.

The underdog angle has been played up pretty hard since Lane Johnson and Chris Long wore underdog masks after winning their first playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons. The next weekend, Lincoln Financial Field was packed full of fans wearing similar masks, as Eagles fans literally bought out Amazon’s stock ahead of the title game.

Along with the masks, Long and Johnson have been selling “Home Dog” t-shirts, donating all proceeds to benefit Philly schools.

The Eagles are scorching hot right now in terms of popularity. According to our data, they rank No. 2 on the SNIPdaily Franchise Top 100 as of Saturday, one day ahead of Super Bowl LII. You’ll never guess which pro sports franchise has them beat (wink, wink).
