If you believe the reports of a TV station out of Fayetteville, AR, The University of Arkansas is interested in former USC and current Seattle Seahawks head football coach Pete Carroll to replaced the disgraced ex-Razorbacks HC Bobby Petrino, The only problem is that Carroll has no interest in return for the job. He has also placed his support via Twitter behind another coach connected with the Arkansas coaching search, former NFL coach Steve Mariucci.

A foundation heavily involved in the school's athletics announced that it was giving a $1 million gift to Arkansas in reaction to the university's dismissal of football coach Bobby Petrino.
Arkansas is looking for a new head football coach to replace Bobby Petrino, and a report says they attempted to hire Pete Carroll. 5News Sports in Arkansas says the school reached out to Carroll but was turned down by the current Seahawks coach.
Carroll seemed to confirm the overture via Twitter, and he also promoted a colleague for the gig:
