Some are saying that the Seattle Seahawks are the team that is hot this season, Why not? Pete Carroll has 9 wins with his Seahawks and he has already started to sling the mud going into Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers Jim Harbaugh. Carroll has made comments about Harbaugh trying to get help for his 49ers from the N.F.L. Officials. Needless to say that isn’t going to sit well with Harbaugh. It doesn’t take much to get the 49ers head coach fired up and Pete Carroll may not want to get Harbaugh’s blood boiling before this game on Sunday. Both teams have got some good play out of their young quarterbacks, maybe Carroll should keep his mouth shut and let the game play out on the field. That wouldn’t be the Pete Carroll we have come to know though would it? The Seahawks are going to have their hands full trying to stop the 49ers. Seattle may be a hot team now but the 49ers aren’t exactly cold. They are coming off a huge win over the Patriots and they are on a roll themselves. Carroll is going to have to have his Seahawks up for this game and with his mouth flapping I’m sure he is already doing his best to get Seattle fired up. The way I see this the game is either going to be a complete blow out, or it is going to be a defensive struggle. If Carroll can get his Seahawks to get to the 49ers Q.B. things could get interesting. I guess we are going to see soon enough just how hot Carroll has his Seahawks. This one could be an epic battle.

  • Hey LG, haven't seen the 9ers put up 50+ once this year let alone twice?? And that win against the Pats wasn't that impressive considering they gave up 28 unanswered in the 4th Qtr!!!!!

Ruling on Richard Sherman’s PED appeal not expected until next week

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman was in New York City on Thursday and Friday to present his appeal to the NFL after being suspended for four games for violating the leagues performance enhancing drug policy. The Seahawks don’t expect ruling until next week, which means Sherman will be able to play in Sunday night’s game against the 49ers.   Need NFL Tickets? var...

Seattle Seahawks' First Playoff Game

I’m going to be pretty peeved if the world ends before I get a chance to see the Seahawks and 49ers rematch on Sunday. The Mayan apocalypse can wait until after we see what is shaping up to be one of the best games of the season. The implications of the game are huge; if the 49ers win the game, they claim the NFC west … if the Seahawks win, there’s still a chance that they’ll...

Tom Cable Recieves A Naughty Christmas Present From His Offensive Line

Offensive lineman are giving and receiving some odd gifts this Christmas season. Example: Arian Foster gave his linemen Segway scooters — a departure from the common steak dinners and gold watches. Today, Seattle Seahawks tackle Russell Okung tweeted a photo of a gift to offensive line coach Tom Cable. Looks like there’s potential for a naughty Christmas in the Cable household...

Seahawks Fantasy Forecast – Week 16 NFL predictions

Start ‘em & Sit ‘em Week 16 Fantasy Football – Seattle Seahawks Week 16 predictions The Seattle Seahawks are on fire! They have scored 50+ points in two straight games – amazing. But that said it hasn’t translated into a whole lotta Fantasy love unless you were one of the brave souls that started Russell Wilson last week! In Week 16 the Hawks face one of the best defenses...

Seattle Seahawks expect CB Richard Sherman to play vs. 49ers

The Seattle Seahawks are expecting CB Richard Sherman to play Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers. Sherman is facing a four-game league imposed suspension after he tested positive for a banned substance. After missing two practices this week, Sherman returned to Seattle after holding an appeals hearing at the league office. No ruling was made in his appeals hearing but Sherman...

Moments in time…The Seattle Seahawks week that was

Another blow out! Two wins on the road for our Seahawks, quite a nice little surprise if you ask me. Now though, our fate is not in our hands for the divisional race, thanks to the New England Patriots letting us down on Sunday night. Yep, even when we beat San Francisco this coming Sunday night, the Seahawks faithful will have to rely on the lowly Arizona Cardinals to get a win...

Why Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson should be Rookie of the Year

They told him he couldn’t play QB  in the NFL, after all he was too short to look over his offensive lineman. When Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson declared for the draft it didn’t matter what his film showed, he was often cast aside by scouts and front offices because of his size. It would be generous to call Russell Wilson 5″11, yet he comes out and proves every week and...

Seahawks can't afford drops in rematch with 49ers

(Eds: Updates. With AP Photos.) By CURTIS CRABTREE Associated Press Drops. A problem that plagued Seattle's wide receivers in the past hasn't been an issue for most of this season. The one time it became a problem was in the Seahawks' first meeting against the San Francisco 49ers in October. The two teams play again Sunday night in Seattle in a key NFC game. According...

Russell Okung Wore It Best At The Seattle Seahawks Ugly Sweater Party

What stands out from last night’s Seattle Seahawks ugly Christmas sweater party? The lack of diversity in ugly sweaters. Those beefy guys (nope, wouldn’t say it to their faces) above are the offensive line. They need tent sweaters. There must only be one ugly sweater shop in Seattle that makes tent sweaters. Take a look at that diversity. Far left is Russell Okung, who has to...

Playoff race makes odd allies of Packers, Seahawks

Pay up, Seahawks. The Green Bay Packers have put the Inaccurate Reception behind them, and they've done their best not to begrudge Seattle the win that really wasn't. But karma has a way of coming back around, and the Seahawks have a chance to put things right this weekend. ''Without looking in the past, we have to root for a team we fell short to,'' Clay...

Seahawks Sidebar--49ers Edition

Hello Followers.  Hope you’ve had a great week. By the time that you all read this, I’ll be somewhere near the great state of Virginia, waving to our good friend Tony Bennett en route to the brood’s Holiday breeding grounds know as… MIAMI, Florida!!!!! Last year, Mrs. Sutra and I got carried away with the drive and buried Little...
