Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told ESPN Radio 710 in Seattle that he doesn’t know when wide receiver Percy Harvin will practice, but “he is getting very close … everybody should be very encouraged that he’s not too far off now.” Harvin is eligible to begin practice today, but Carroll noted that it is a strange week for the Seahawks with having to travel on Wednesday to get to Phoenix on Thursday. Because of that, Carroll said the team’s workouts this week are basically just walkthroughs to prepare for the game.’ Harvin has been running well. Carroll said Harvin ran well in workouts last week and again on Sunday prior to the game and that he will be examined again today  by team doctors to see where he is physically. Need NFL Tickets? Barely winning is not victory for the Seattle Seahawks

Marshawn Lynch had a beast-mode kind of day for the Seattle Seahawks: running tough and nimble on his way to 155 total yards and two scores. But he almost fumbled the game away near the goal-line in the fourth quarter. Zach Brown, seeing nothing but turf and end-zone before him, attempted to scoop up the ball but bounced it to Russell Wilson instead. Without that lucky bounce, Seattle...

Seahawks have quick turn after ugly win vs. Titans

Pete Carroll understood that from the outside, the Seahawks' win looked pretty ugly. Whether it was the careless ball security or the Seahawks being unable to pull away until late, there wasn't much aesthetically impressive about Seattle's 20-13 victory over Tennessee on Sunday. But within the Seahawks' 11th straight home victory, Carroll was encouraged by a better...

Watch: Seattle kicker Steven Hauschka gets run over on kickoff

Every once and a while a kicker tries to step up and make a tackle. Occasionally a kicker makes a tackle but more often than not it ends this way. That is Seattle Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka getting run over or “trucked” by Darius Reynaud of the Tennessee Titans. All that is left is the “Welcome to football” from Necessary Roughness. Hauschka was evaluated for a concussion...

Titans score touchdown at end of half on crazy play vs. Seattle

The Seattle Seahawks almost didn’t get a chance to stop the clock before the half to kick a field goal because a referee bobbled the ball trying to spot it.  Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka is sidelined with a concussion after getting leveled during a kick return, so punter John Ryan was taking the kick.  Ryan is normally the holder, so the ball was bobbled and never set down...

Fashion Glance: Seahawks cb Walter Thurmond’s suit fail

Personal style is subjective. But in some cases, that’s no excuse for flat out bad taste. Seattle Seahawks cb Walter Thurmond showed off a complicated look in the locker room on Sunday following the Seahawks win over the Titans. Thurmond rocked a tuxedo jacket, double breasted vest, ascot and derby. Too much going on for one look. He should’ve practiced the Coco Chanel rule for...
