EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Adrian Peterson's remarkable season in his return from knee surgery has led him to being the top vote-getter among all NFC players in fan balloting for the Pro Bowl.
Peterson, the Minnesota Vikings' four-time Pro Bowl back who leads the league with 1,812 rushing yards, finished fourth among all players in the fan voting, which qualifies as 13 of the vote when combined with player and coach voting, with 828,225 votes. Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning received 993,045 votes to lead all players, followed by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (908,099) and Houston Texans running back Arian Foster (829,591). Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (777,827) rounded out the top-5 vote-getters.
The Pro Bowl rosters, including starters, will be announced on Dec. 16. The game will be played on Jan. 27, 2013 in Honululu, Hawaii.
