In one of the best NFL playoff games of all time between the Denver Broncos and the Baltimore Ravens, the Ravens won the game 38-35 and are moving on to play New England in the AFC Conference Championship game. It took two overtimes for the game to produce a winner. In a game that saw pick 6’s, kick and punt returns for touchdowns you almost forgot about the fact that this could have been Ray Lewis’ last game or that Peyton Manning’s phenomenal year that led the Broncos to be the number one seed in the AFC. After the game Lewis told reporters, “I’ve never been a part of a game so crazy in my life.”
After the dust settled on Saturday’s AFC Division game in Denver Peyton Manning made sure he stuck around the stadium to talk with Ray Lewis since Lewis will retire after this season. Ravens PR Chad Steele took a picture in the Ravens locker room of Manning and Lewis talking about the game and of course talk about Ray’s career in the NFL. According to Steele Manning waited about 90 minutes for reporters to finish talking to Lewis and the Ravens so he could chat with Lewis. It is great to see this moment between to legendary players who are sure first ballot hall of famers.
