Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning looked sharp in Wednesday's practice with no problems throwing the ball, according to The Denver Post. Manning's right thumb smacked the helmet of Saints defensive end Martez Wilson after Manning completed a pass to Eric Decker in Sunday night's 34-14 victory.   Nobody really knew the extent of the injury or how it would affect Manning this week in practice.  But the Broncos don't seem to concerned about it. Manning wore a piece of tape on his right thumbnail in Wednesday's practice.  When asked about his thumb, Manning said: "It's OK, it's OK.  It's sore, but just more of an irritant than anything." The 4-3 Broncos play in Cincinnati Sunday against the 3-4 Bengals.  Manning said the Bengals are a better team than their record shows. "Their defense is very physical," Manning said. "They play in a physical division (AFC North). The teams they play are good running teams and have a physical defense. Cincinnati matches that mold. "Their record is misleading. I'm not sure what's going on with their offense, but their defense is playing solid. I think they're second in NFL in sacks (actually third, with 23), which has come in four-man rushes. They have multiple blitzes." The Broncos lost linebacker Joe Mays for the season with a broken leg, but maybe getting cornerback Tracy Porter back this week. "It's a matter of me getting my conditioning back, getting my legs back up under me," Porter said via FOX News. "As far as seizure-wise, I don't have any problem."
