Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was asked if he has anything to prove this year after missing the entire 2011 season after undergoing multiple neck procedures, he reponded by simply saying, “no.”
Manning did make it clear that he’s happy to be back on the field playing football again.
“It has been exciting for me to be back on the field,” Peyton said. “When you’re injured, it’s not fun. You’re kind of quarantined. It’s nice to be able kind of get the reins cut off, being able to participate in OTAs, minicamp.”

The Mannings are holding their annual passing academy and for Eli and father Archie, it's been gratifying to see Peyton throwing again, something he could not do at the Manning Passing Academy a year ago while recovering from neck surgery that sidelined him for all of 2011, the Associated Press reports. Peyton gave a terse "No," when asked if he has something to prove...
The Denver Broncos are one of the few teams that are extremely hard to predict for this upcoming 2012 season. Making the switch from Tim Tebow to Peyton Manning is one of the three major questions heading into the season. It's not a question of who has a better skillset for these two quarterbacks because it is no comparison. But coming off a season ending neck injury, will...
Even for the Manning brothers, this offseason has been extraordinary, and they have high hopes for how the rest of 2012 could turn out.
Peyton Manning says he still has more rehabilitation ahead from neck surgery, but it's nice to throw passes at his family's football camp in south Louisiana this weekend - something he could not do a year ago. He's also looking forward...

The Oakland Raiders have weapons on both sides of the ball to be a legit candidate in the AFC West. The problem is they can't stay healthy. The division got stronger with the addition of Peyton Manning to the Denver Broncos and healthy Matt Cassel should make this a fun division to watch. If Darren McFadden can stay healthy the Raiders can make a run at it. That leads to the...

What a difference Peyton Manning makes. After winning 10+ games for 9 straight seasons (the longest active streak in the NFL at the time) and 12+ games in 7 of their last 8 seasons, the Colts won a mere 2 games last year and at one point sat at 0-13. Andrew Luck will undoubtedly help, but he’s just a rookie quarterback and quarterback was hardly their only problem last...
