After taking his job as Denver Broncos quarterback, Peyton Manning now has beaten Tim Tebow to the top spot for the best-selling jersey in the NFL. The league said Tuesday that Manning's Broncos jersey and Tebow's New York Jets jersey have sold more than any other over the past two months on NFLShop.com, followed by those of rookies Robert Griffin III of the Redskins and the Colts' Andrew Luck. But according to The Washington Post, Griffin's jersey has been the top seller for the month of May. The report also said that the overall figures were somewhat misleading, as they record sales from April 1 to May 28, but rookie jerseys did not go on sale until April 26. It's not the first time Redskins fans have gotten this excited about a new recruit. Donovan McNabb's jersey was the second-best seller in the league after he joined Washington from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2010. Four more quarterbacks made it into the top 10 for sales over the two months, with Eli Manning (Giants) at fifth, Aaron Rodgers (Packers) sixth, Tom Brady (Patriots) eighth and Cam Newton (Panthers) ninth. San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis had the best-selling jersey for a non-quarterback, coming in at seventh, while Steelers safety Troy Polamalu rounded out the top 10.

Peyton Manning’s teaching skills are overrated

Denver Broncos’ players and coaches have raved about Peyton Manning’s teaching skills and leadership ability during the team’s OTAs. Manning has spent a lot of time during the team’s practices instructing players on how he plans to run the offense.  This is one of the reasons why wide receivers play so well under Manning’s leadership. He makes sure they are in the right...

Nick Mangold wears hilarious shirt about Tim Tebow-Lolo Jones situation (Picture)

Since Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones admitted she is still a virgin a little over a week ago, the entire sports world has been trying to get her together with Tim Tebow. In the eyes of many fans and most of his Jets teammates, Tebow makes perfect sense for the 29-year-old. As you can see from the photo above that ESPNNewYork.com’s Jane McManus shared on Twitter Thursday, Nick Mangold...

It’s confirmed: Jim Harbaugh could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves. Or at least he’d try to if it was in the best interest of his football team. The 49ers coach spoke to the media on Wednesday and attempted to spin the reports that said the team pursued Peyton Manning in March. “There’s a perception out there, and it’s an erroneous perception, that...

Jim Harbaugh is lying…Still, Alex Smith is now better than Peyton Manning

Jim Harbaugh’s rant of lies

In a recent interview with the 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh, Harbaugh had some interesting comments when the subject of the niners’ pursuing former free agent Peyton Manning came up. “It’s an erroneous perception that we were flirting with Peyton Manning,” Harbaugh said. “I keep hearing that over and over again. It’s silly, and it’s untrue. It’s phony. Even the...
