The Philadelphia Eagles are going to try to play a spoiler the last couple of weeks of the year. They looked good in thumping the Dolphins 26-10 in Miami last weekend. The Jets have won three games in a row as they are trying to win a wildcard spot in the AFC playoffs. Here is a look at the matchups in this game:
When the Eagles have the ball: The Eagles are going to try to run the ball on the Jets this weekend. Lesean McCoy (1,172 yards rushing) is going to have to work hard tomorrow as the Jets will likely be keying on him and they are only allowing 3.9 yards per carry so far this year. The Jets don’t have a great pass rush, but they have an awesome secondary. That means that Michael Vick is going to have to be careful throwing the ball to his banged up WRing corps. I think the best bet for them will be to attack the middle of the field and challenge the Jets’ safeties with a lot of throws to TE Brent Celek.

New York Jets Week 15 NFL Preview: ‘Thrilla in Phila’
This Sunday, when the New York Jets travel down to Philly to face Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles, there are going to be a lot of very nervous fans—from both sides. This past weekend, the Jets’ position in the AFC did a complete switch flip. They went from a team kind of in the hunt for a spot in the post season, to a team that currently sits in the No. 6 playoff seed...

Eagles rout Jets 45-19, stay alive in NFC East
Inspired by some pregame scoreboard watching, the Philadelphia Eagles took care of their own business.

More Evidence That Only One Who Can Stop LeSean McCoy Is Andy Reid
LeSean McCoy could very well be the best running back in football. And when Andy Reid realizes this, it makes the Eagles very tough to stop on offense. The Eagles actually ran the ball on Sunday against the Jets, and the result was a 45-19 shellacking that, by the start of the fourth quarter, felt [...]

Jets vs. Eagles: 12 Pack Of Predictions
Can the New York Jets take home their fourth victory in a row? Is another late season playoff run on deck? The 12 pack has a few ideas…
1. LeSean McCoy is going to rip one huge run off but beyond that will be bottled up. Ultimately, he will end up with a little under 100 yards and a touchdown.
2. Shonn Greene will have his second straight 100 yard game, wearing the Eagles defense...
Three Things: Philadelphia Eagles
Controlling your own destiny never made much sense to me. Destiny in itself is predetermined by definition so controlling it (while understandable), is ambiguous. What a strange way to start off. Anyway, the Jets need to win and to do that they need to beat an extremely talented 5-8 Eagles team. Nothing is scarier than a team that has (almost) nothing to play for except playing spoiler...
