Found January 17, 2012 on Eagles Addict:
Adam Schefter has reported that Steve Spagnuolo, the guy all Eagles fans covet, spent Monday interviewing with the Indianapolis Colts about their defensive coordinator job.  Oddly, this was reported at about the same time it was announced that the Colts have fired head coach Jim Caldwell. Why would the Colts interview someone for their defensive coordinator position and then fire the head coach?  Something doesn’t quite add up there.  Usually, a head coach will hire his coordinators. However, since the new GM in Indianapolis is Ryan Grigson, former Director of Player Personnel in Philly, I wonder if he’s going to try and bring in some “Philly guys.” Ever since Grigson joined the Colts, the idea has been suggested that he could go after Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg to be their new head coach.  It is sound logic since the Colts will be drafting Andrew Luck and Mornhinweg has the credentials to groom him. This would also make sense as to why Spags was there interviewi...

Steve Spagnuolo Isn’t in a Rush to Find a New Team

Despite rumors that have linked former Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo to the Eagles, he’ll take his time in deciding where he wants to coach in 2012, according to Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News. Right now it seems that Spagnuolo wants to see how things develop around the league, before he jumps at any initial interest he might receive. The teams that are likely...

Colts Interviewed Steve Spagnuolo

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Indianapolis Colts interviewed Steve Spagnuolo on Monday for their vacant defensive coordinator position. Schefter mentioned earlier today that Spagnuolo isn’t rushing to find a new job. I get the feeling that he’s content with taking his time to put himself in the best situation. Since the Falcons just hired Mike Nolan as their...

Saints Nation: Saints Eyeing Steve Spagnuolo as Gregg Williams' Replacement

If you could pick the most embarrassing of the Saints' four defeats this past season, the loss in St. Louis to the Rams would win by a landslide. The Rams were able to limit what the Saints did offensively like almost no other team this season. While that's a compliment to the way the Rams played that day, particularly defensively, the embarrassment factor is an endictment...

Greg Cowan looks at Steve Spagnuolo's coaching history and tells us what Colts fans can expect from the teams new Defensive Coordinator. One of GM Ryan Grigson's first moves towa    Steve Spagnuolo's NFL coaching career would start in 1999 with the Philadelphia Eagles. There, under the tutelage of one of the best defensive coordinators in recent history, the late...

Schefter: Peyton Manning Doesn’t Plan on Retiring

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter,  Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning doesn’t plan on retiring.  Right now,  he plans on playing in 2012. Despite Schefter’s report of Manning not planning on retiring,  I believe he’ll end up being forced to end his career.  I honestly don’t see him being healthy enough to finish his career. Don’t get me wrong,  I love...
