The Philadelphia Eagles have traded disappointing RB Ronnie Brown to the Detroit Lions for RB Jerome Harrison and a 2013 seventh-round draft pick.
Just like when November rolls around and Andy Reid starts craving a nice plump Thanksgiving turkey, there must be something about October and the trade deadline that makes him crave Jerome Harrison.
It was just about this time last year (October 13th, 2010, to be exact) when the Eagles shipped running back Mike Bell to the Cleveland Browns for Harrison.
That means that for two years in a row, Andy Reid and the Eagles have acquired a running back to be the No. 2 guy behind LeSean McCoy only to find out they just don’t fit. And both times they decide to bring in Jerome Harrison instead.

But the Eagles did make a move yesterday, swapping back up running backs with the Detroit Lions. When the dust from the hardly earth shattering deal had settled, the Eagles now have Jerome Harrison in the fold, as well as a late round pick in the 2013 draft.
Regardless of whether...
The Lions confirmed Wednesday night the Tuesday trade that sent Lions running back Jerome Harrison and a 2013 draft pick (believed to be a seventh-rounder) to the Eagles for running back Ronnie Brown has been voided.
Buckley is a three-year veteran who spent his first two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. He has 36 carries for 111 yards in his career.
The trade that wasn't might have saved Jerome Harrison's life.
The Lions gave up running back Jerome Harrison in the deal, according to Pro Football Talk.
Running back Jerome Harrison failed his physical in Philadelphia after being traded from the Lions to the Eagles because doctors discovered a brain tumor, according to a report.
Many were surprised on Wednesday when the trade between the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles fell through due to Jerome Harrison failing his physical with the Eagles.
But according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Harrison might not have even gotten as far as the physical.
Schefter is reporting that Philadelphia doctors found a brain tumor on Harrison, which is the reason behind...
